SQL Developer Location: Allen, TX Schedule: Hybrid – onsite 3 days Contract We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer to join a high-impact engineering team supporting a mission-critical on-premise platform environment. This role is ideal for someone with deep Microsoft SQL Server expertise who enjoys solving complex database performance and optimization challenges in a high-availability environment. Key Responsibilities: • Optimize and improve SQL Server database performance and efficiency • Develop and tune advanced T-SQL including stored procedures, triggers, and UDFs • Support high transaction volume environments and high availability solutions • Perform physical database design and storage optimization • Use SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and Query Store for troubleshooting and tuning • Refactor and modernize legacy database objects using SQL Server 2022 features • Manage database security including roles and permissions • Participate in Agile development and sprint deliverables • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and technical stakeholders throughout the SDLC Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of SQL Development experience • Strong expertise with Microsoft SQL Server 2022 • Advanced T-SQL development skills • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization • Knowledge of high availability and modern SQL Server features • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
