across multiple government facilities in Idaho.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician with extensive experience in Access Control, Video Surveillance, and Intrusion Detection Systems who is looking for consistent long-term work.\nThe selected contractor will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, software support, and emergency service activities on mission-critical security systems.\nResponsibilitiesPhysical Access Control Systems (PACS)\nMaintain and troubleshoot electronic access control systems\nService electronic locks, mechanical locks, door hardware, hinges, readers, controllers, and panels\nInspect and test field devices\nTroubleshoot wiring, fiber optic cabling, and communication issues\nSupport system administration functions\nDocument repairs and maintenance activities\nVideo Surveillance Systems (VSS)\nMaintain IP camera systems\nSupport recording servers and storage systems\nTroubleshoot cameras and network connectivity\nPerform inspections and operational testing\nReplace failed components when required\nIntrusion Detection Systems (IDS)\nSupport intrusion alarm systems\nMaintain perimeter sensors and security devices\nService gates, barriers, and associated control equipment\nTroubleshoot alarm communication issues\nSupport Security Management Systems (SMS)\nPreventive Maintenance Duties\nAnnual inspections\nSystem testing and validation\nBackup battery replacements\nFirmware and software updates\nSystem backups and restoration\nLicensing support\nPreventive maintenance\nTroubleshooting and diagnostics\nIdentify failed equipment\nRecommend repairs and replacements\nCoordinate with project representatives\nService Response Expectations\nTechnicians must be available to support:\nScheduled maintenance (within 3 weeks)\nPriority service calls (1–5 business days)\nEmergency response (12–24 hours)\nRemote support and onsite service will both be required.\nRequired Experience\nCandidates should have experience with:\nPhysical Access Control Systems (PACS)\nVideo Surveillance Systems (CCTV/IP Cameras)\nIntrusion Detection Systems (IDS)\nElectronic door hardware\nHID readers and access control devices\nTroubleshooting low-voltage security systems\nPreventive maintenance\nRepair and replacement of security hardware\nReading wiring diagrams and system documentation\nExperience with the following platforms is highly preferred:\nAMAG / Symmetry\nExacqVision (Johnson Controls)\nPreferred Certifications\nStrong preference will be given to candidates holding one or more of the following:\nAMAG Symmetry Certification\nExacqVision Certification\nCertified System Engineer ICAM PACS (CSEIP)\nLenel\nGenetec\nSoftware House CCURE\nHID Certifications\nEquivalent access control or security industry certifications\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience with enterprise security systems\nStrong troubleshooting
