Provides feedback and discipline, along with the program manager, when appropriate.\nVerifies the staff attendance and ensures the staff is providing active treatment for all people assigned.\nEnsures there is adequate staff in attendance at the program and obtains temporary staff or alternate staffing options when needed.\nAssesses the need for adaptive equipment to enhance people’s productivity/activity level and makes appropriate referrals and suggestions to the appropriate manager.\nConfirms that adequate materials are in place at the start of each shift and throughout the program time.\nDocuments incidents as needed.\nUses crisis intervention skills in emergencies when needed.\nResponsible for staff development, including program orientation, completion of training, and ongoing learning of direct support staff.\nWorks with the manager and implements strategies to reduce turnover.\nConducts visits and/or inspections of assigned areas to ensure all contractual specifications are being met.\nFamiliar with all DOL regulations as relating to persons served, and ensures they are all being met.\nServes as a positive role model for other employees in the program.\nWhat You Bring High school diploma or GED\nExperience in disability services preferred (not required— we train!)\nAbility to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.\nValid U.S. driver’s license— Meet one of the following driving record requirements?
