Job DescriptionEpsilon Systems Solutions is currently seeking a full time Senior SME: Submarine Maintenance Assessment Director in San Diego and Point Loma, CA\nSummary: The Assessment Director acts as a liaison between Regional Maintenance Centers (RMCs), Type Commander (TYCOM) Maintenance Staffs, Surface Maintenance Engineering Planning Program (SURFMEPP) and other CMP stakeholders.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\n\nAssessment Directors serve as the RMC Enterprise Project Team Position Specific SME. As such they lead the delivery of CNRMC WFD PT Specific courses IAW developed curriculum across the RMC Enterprise as required by the CNRMC WFD LRTP. Lead instructors are expected to adapt instructional strategies to meet student needs using a variety of instructional strategies to meet different learning styles.\nManage the execution of assessment visits and CMP assessment events.\nProvide management of Government engineers and technicians, military personnel, contractors, data entry personnel, and logisticians in support of assessment visits.\nAugment/assist the Project Team in CMP assessment accomplishment, scheduling, and coordination\nUpdate the Project Team on progress in meeting established milestones and deadlines for completion of assignments, projects and tasks, and ensure all team members are aware of and participate in planning for achievement of team goals and objectives.\nManage dedicated Visit Support Team (VST) performing logistics validation, data entry, and data collection support functions.\nUtilize data provided by the Fleet Technical Assist (RMC or Warfare Center) personnel to assist the Maintenance Team in documenting, completing, and closing CMP assessment requirements.\nDevelop root cause analysis and recommended action reports.\nAct as an advisor to other commands and ships on matters pertaining to ship availability advance planning, assessments, and program management techniques including operation, test, repair, and maintenance engineering.\nOversees execution of assessments in preparation for deployment\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\nMinimum ten (10) years' experience with Navy Surface or Submarine Ship Repair and Modernization.\nMinimum ten (10) years' experience with Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Project Team Roles and Responsibilities.\nMinimum of four (4) years' experience with the systems being assessed, the submarine community, and ideally the TSRP instruction.\nAbility to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance\nMinimum ten (10) years of experience gained because of in-depth experience and specialized knowledge in RMC Operations.\nSound interpersonal skills needed to interface, coordinate with company personnel, customers, and outside contacts\nExceptional organization skills with high attention to detail.\nAdvanced time management and analytical skills.\nExcellent written and oral communication.\nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.\nFamiliarity with Post-Deployment Maintainability Assessments (PDMA) process\nPursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.\n\n\nADA Notations:\n\nRegular communication (hearing/speaking).\nNoise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.\nProlonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).\nFrequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.\nAbility to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.\nMust be able to get up and down ladders and in tight spaces where required\n\n\n\nEpsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
