{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"cda35fd9620356393435bbc0","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cda35fd9620356393435bbc0","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cda35fd9620356393435bbc0","title":"BCA Reliability & Maintainability Engineering Manager","description":"BCA Reliability & Maintainability Engineering Manager\nCompany: Boeing\n\nLocation(s): Everett, Washington or Renton, Washington.\n\nPosition Level: Level K\n\nPosition Responsibilities\n\nDevelop project plans aligned to an Airplane Development Program and R&M strategy and objectives.\n\nImplement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved.\n\nDevelop and monitor appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan.\n\nProvide technical direction and guidance to the team regarding processes, tools, technology and deliverables.\n\nEnsure team products and processes meet customer, company, and regulatory requirements for quality and safety.\n\nCoach, counsel, mentor and provide developmental opportunities to improve employee satisfaction and retain a skilled and motivated team.\n\nForecast and negotiate with internal customers and other R&M managers resource needs and recruit personnel if needed.\n\nCollaborate with other SEIT managers and team members.\n\nEstablish partnerships and good working relationships with internal customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.\n\n5+ years of experience leading engineering teams in R&M or related functional areas.\n\nKnowledge of the basic Principles, Processes and Lifecycle of Systems Engineering.\n\nUnderstanding of the concept of Technical Performance Measures (customer‑centric view of a product performance).\n\nKnowledge of basic definitions of Reliability, Maintainability, Durability, and Availability.\n\nGeneral knowledge of probability & statistics and the basis of such in Reliability & Safety analysis.\n\nKnowledge of System Modeling methods and relation to R&M modeling & analysis (Model Based Engineering).\n\nHigh level knowledge of Airplane Systems and Structures of commercial or military airplanes.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work in a multi‑discipline engineering environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nUnderstanding of advanced data analysis techniques (e.g. Machine Learning).\n\nMBA is highly desirable.\n\nEmployment Details\nType: Full‑time\n\nShift: 1st shift\n\nOnsite: 100% onsite at one of the listed locations.\n\nRelocation: Offered based on candidate eligibility.\n\nVisa Sponsorship: Employer will not sponsor applications for employment visa status.\n\nCompensation\nSummary Pay Range: $147,050 - $198,950.\n\nBenefits\nCompetitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
