Aptive Resources is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Cleveland, Ohio.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Med SurgDiscipline: RNDuration: 52 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, days, nights, flexibleEmployment Type: Local ContractMedical-Surgical (Med-Surg) Registered NurseCompensation: $47.80/hr-$50.00/hr plus $5.09 for Health and WellnessPosition SummaryThe Medical-Surgical RN provides direct care to patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, including post-operative recovery and telemetry monitoring.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct patient assessments and monitor clinical statusAdminister medications, IV fluids, and blood productsProvide telemetry monitoring and cardiac careCoordinate admissions, discharges, and transfersPerform wound care, central line care, and catheter managementCollaborate with interdisciplinary teamsDelegate tasks to support staffMaintain accurate and timely EHR documentationPatient PopulationOncology, telemetry, surgical recovery, infections, cardiac conditions, and behavioral health needsMinimum QualificationsGraduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)Active RN license (Ohio or compact state)Current BLS certification (ACLS required for ICU/ED)Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experienceStrong English communication and documentation skillsAdditional RequirementsAbility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidaysCompletion of VA-required training (safety, HIPAA, EHR, etc.)Compliance with credentialing and privileging standardsAbility to float between units as neededAbout Aptive ResourcesAptive is a federal health company built on one belief: the people who need care most shouldn't have to wait.
