The Policy Office has implemented a shared responsibility model to better formulate, coordinate, and prioritize policy development. This position offers a timely opportunity to be a part of this game-changing and high-visibility effort.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCoordinate policy staff actions across the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC).\n\nCoordinate Secretary of Defense (SecDef) and Under Secretary of Defense (Intelligence and Security) (USD(I&S)) issuances in accordance with Office of the USD(I&S) standard operating procedures outlined in DoDI 5025.01, including coordinating with other DoD elements as appropriate.\n\nEvaluate USD(I&S) policy documents and issuances to ensure they fulfill Defense Intelligence, CI, security, intelligence-related, and law enforcement needs for policy guidance and conform to established Office of SecDef standards.\n\nEvaluate policy documents and issuances from other DoD components to ensure they appropriately reflect Defense Intelligence, CI, security, law enforcement, intelligence-related, and law enforcement equities.\n\nEnsure IC policies are reviewed by the OUSD(I&S) staff and other DoD components with equities in the policy.\n\nIdentify and resolve problems that arise during issuance development process; evaluate alternatives; provide recommendations for solutions to OUSD(I&S) Primary and Alternate Policy Focal Points; and give presentations and briefings as required.\n\nResolve issues raised in the coordination of policy across the Federal government via participation in DoD, IC, and inter-agency meetings and working groups.\n\nRequired Experience/Clearance\n\nMust have an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience working within DoD and have experience coordinating DoD issuances.\n\nHighly preferred: Experience with the DoD Issuance Portal System and the USD(I&S) Policy Portal.\n\nPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree.\n\nRedhorse Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
