The person hired for this role will work closely with all members of the firm. This role is critical to the success of the firm’s trading function and requires great attention to detail and someone who takes a proactive approach to responsibilities.\nLocation: Chicago. Position requires 4 days in office.\nEducation & Professional Skills\nBachelor’s Degree (Finance or Accounting preferred).\n1 to 3 years of experience in financial services. Experience at an investment firm is a plus.\nProficiency in financial and accounting concepts.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills.\nEnthusiastic approach to financial markets.\nDetail oriented and consistent.\nKey Responsibilities & Contributions\nAssist Director of Operations with daily position and cash reconciliations.\nAssist with monthly reconciliations and reporting.\nWork with external counterparties to resolve daily trade breaks.\nWork with PMs to book and allocate trades.\nWork with PMs to review and input corporate actions.\nExecute asset and money transfers.\nAssist Treasury department with stock loan management.\nUnderstand margin methodologies across prime brokers and effectively field questions from PMs.\nManage onboarding of new broker and accounts.\nCompensation & Benefits\nCompensation will be competitive and commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and experience. Base salary + annual bonus based on performance.
