A\ncontributor in developing scalable and resilient hybrid and Cloud-based data solutions supporting critical\nfinancial market clearing and risk activities; collaborate with other developers, architects and product\nowners to support enterprise transformation into a data-driven organization. The Specialist, Application\nDeveloper will be a team player and work well with business, technical and non-technical professionals in a\nproject environment.\nResponsibilities\nSupport the application development of big data application for business requirements in\nagreed architecture framework and Agile environment\n\nThoroughly analyzes requirements, develops, tests, and documents software quality to\nensure proper implementation\n\nFollows agreed upon SDLC procedures to ensure that all information system products and\nservices meet: both explicit and implicit quality standards, end-user functional requirements,\narchitectural standards, performance requirements, audit requirements, security rules are\nupheld, and external facing reporting is properly represented\n\nPerforms application and project risk analysis and recommends quality improvements\nAssists Production Support by providing advice on system functionality and fixes as required\nCommunicates in a clear and concise manner all time delays or defects in the software\nimmediately to appropriate team members and management\n\nExperience with resolving security vulnerabilities\nSupervisory Responsibilities\n\nNone\nQualifications & Experience\n\n[Required] 5+ year of experience in building high speed, data-centric solutions\n[Required] Java 5+ years experience\n[Required] Experience with high speed distributed computing frameworks like FLINK,\nApache Spark, Kafka Streams, etc\n\n[Required] Experience with distributed message brokers Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ,\nAmazon Kinesis, etc. Kafka\n\n[Required] Experience with cloud technologies and migrations. Experience preferred with\nAWS foundational services like VPCs, Security groups, EC2, RDS, S3 ACLs, KMS, AWS\nCLI and IAM etc\n\n[Required] Experience developing and delivering technical solutions using public cloud\nservice providers like Amazon, Google\n\n[Required] Experience writing unit and integration tests with testing frameworks like Junit,\nCitrus\n\n[Required] Experience working with various types of databases like Relational, NoSQL,\nObject-based, Graph\n\n[Required] Experience following Git workflows\n[Required] Working knowledge of DevOps tools.
