Pricing Assistant (Miramar)

Allstates WorldCargo is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pricing Assistant to provide customer service to our import and export customers. This full-time position plays an important role in helping our customers receive accurate, timely pricing and exceptional service throughout the shipment process.The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent verbal and computer skills. This is an excellent opportunity for those interested in building a long-term career in the international logistics and freight forwarding industry.Key ResponsibilitiesObtain and negotiate rates from airlines, ocean carriers, trucking companies, and other transportation providersPrepare and provide pricing quotations to customers and overseas agentsFollow up on pending quotes and customer inquiries in a timely mannerMaintain communication with carriers, agents, and internal departments regarding rates and service availabilityAssist with customer service support related to import and export shipmentsEnter and maintain accurate shipment and pricing information within company systemsSupport sales and operations teams with pricing requests and account managementMonitor market conditions and carrier updates to ensure competitive and accurate pricingAssist with general administrative and operational tasks as neededQualificationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong computer and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentProfessional demeanor and customer service mindsetStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMinimum RequirementsAssociate degree or currently enrolled student (or minimum 3 years of industry experience)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and ExcelPreferably bilingual (English/Spanish)Experience with Magaya software is a plusAllstates WorldCargo is an equal opportunity employer.About Us:Allstates WorldCargo is one of the most established freight forwarders in the country.
