The ideal candidate combines strong web and database development skills, hands-on AWS migration experience, and practical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) assisted tools for code generation, reverse engineering, test automation, and documentation.\r\nPosition Responsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\nLead modernization of a legacy .NET application to updated tools and technologies in the AWS Cloud\r\n\r\n\r\nUse AI tools to accelerate development tasks: code generation, reverse engineering legacy code, producing test cases, and creating/updating documentation\r\n\r\n\r\nPlan and execute SQL Server database migrations to AWS (including schema, data, and data access)\r\n\r\n\r\nMaintain and enhance existing .NET application components with SQL Server and accesses to Teradata, and Oracle data sources\r\n\r\n\r\nGather, analyze, and document end-user requirements and translate them into technical designs\r\n\r\n\r\nWrite, review, and compile routine to moderately complex code and construct database objects per design specifications\r\n\r\n\r\nTroubleshoot application and data access issues across heterogeneous database systems\r\n\r\n\r\nCollaborate regularly with system managers, project managers, developers, database administrators (DBAs), and customers to ensure successful delivery\r\n\r\n\r\nParticipate in design reviews, code reviews, and deployment activities\r\n\r\n\r\nContribute to best practices and standards\r\n\r\n\r\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\r\n\r\n\r\n5+ years of experience in software programming with C, C++, C#, .NET coding, debug, and development\r\n\r\n\r\n3+ years of experience in client-side technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery\r\n\r\n\r\n3+ years of experience using SQL for application interactions with databases (i.e. Oracle, MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.)\r\n\r\n\r\n3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps/Git or AGILE development\r\n\r\n\r\n3+ years of experience leading teams and/or leading initiatives\r\n\r\n\r\n1+ years of experience developing software products in a cloud computing environment e.g. Azure/AWS/Google Cloud\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience designing and programming complex SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages, and scripts\r\n\r\n\r\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\r\n\r\n\r\nBachelor's degree or higher\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with eXtensible Markup Language/eXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XML/XSLT)\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with Charting libraries such as ChartFx\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with modern .NET technologies and frameworks (.NET Core/.NET 5+), containerization, Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with performance tuning and data migration tools/strategies\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience with strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including system managers, project managers, DBAs, developers, and business stakeholders\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience gathering and evaluating end-user requirements and translating them into technical solutions\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment\r\n\r\n\r\nConflict of Interest\r\nSuccessful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.\r\nDrug Free Workplace\r\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.\r\nPay & Benefits:\r\nAt Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
