We care about what you can do and what you've shipped, not where you learned to do it.\nAbout the Role\nYou will own and ship the tenant portal, a React + Supabase web application that gives tenants self-service access to leases, payments, maintenance requests, and an AI assistant. The portal is partially built—your job is to take it from prototype to production.\nThis role is foundational. The tenant portal is Phase 1 of a broader platform that will include property manager tools, executive dashboards, investor portals, and AI‑driven operations.\nYou’ll have full access to the CTO, direct context on business goals, and autonomy to make meaningful architectural and product decisions.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTake ownership of the tenant portal codebase (React 18, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Supabase).\nIdentify and fix architectural and security issues.\nBuild and integrate Stripe payment processing (Edge Functions, PaymentIntents, SetupIntents).\nConnect the AI chatbot to Claude’s API using tenant‑specific context delivered via Supabase Edge Functions.\nImplement real‑time subscriptions for maintenance updates and notifications.\nAdd comprehensive loading states, error handling, empty states, and form validation.\nSet up CI/CD pipelines, automated testing (Vitest + Playwright), and production deployments.\nDeploy the portal to a live environment for leadership and property manager demos.\nEvolve the architecture to support future personas (property managers, executives, investors).\nOngoing Responsibilities\nMaintain and improve the tenant portal as the platform scales.\nMonitor uptime, performance, and error rates; manage production incidents.\nIterate on user experience based on tenant and property manager feedback.\nExtend the platform to support new user groups and workflows.\nOwn CI/CD, testing infrastructure, and overall developer experience.\nCollaborate with the Data & Integration Engineer to surface real-time data from Cherre and other backend systems.\nExplore and integrate new tools, libraries, and AI capabilities.\nMaintain architecture decisions, documentation, and onboarding materials.\nParticipate in code reviews, architectural planning, and cross-functional discussions.\nYou May Be a Good Fit If You Have\n3+ years of experience building and shipping React + TypeScript applications.\nExperience with Supabase, Firebase, or similar BaaS platforms (Auth, PostgreSQL, Edge Functions, Storage).\nDaily use of AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot).\nAbility to quickly understand and improve an existing codebase.\nStrong communication skills and clean, maintainable coding practices.\nComfort making architectural decisions and moving quickly from idea to shipped product.\nBonus Points\nStripe integration experience (PaymentIntents, Elements, webhooks).\nTailwind CSS + shadcn/ui familiarity.\nExperience building AI-powered features (LLM integrations, chatbots, prompt safety).\nExperience shipping products as a solo developer or as part of a small team.\nInterest in proptech, real estate, or vertical SaaS (not required).\nWhat We Don’t Require\n10+ years of experience\nBig‑tech company background\nReal estate industry knowledge\nApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
