Your experience and communication skills will allow you to grow in a challenging, fun and dynamic team environment.\nField technician\nField technicians support geotechnical engineering and materials design through observation and testing needs.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform soil, concrete and asphalt field tests.\nCompare test results per project specifications.\nProvide guidance to clients on construction sites based on test results received.\nCommunicate daily with project managers and complete field paperwork daily.\nMaintain and calibrate field equipment.\nPerform laboratory testing\nPerform geotechnical drilling and sampling\nRequirements:\nExperience with soil, concrete or testing and procedures preferred, not required.\nCSA and Nuclear Gage Certifications preferred, not required.\nGeneral knowledge of soil & aggregate classifications and testing preferred, not required.\nAbility to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.\nAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.\nStrong work ethic.\nAbility to work independently.\nAn insurable driving record and maintain a valid driver’s license.\nExperience:\nOne year materials testing experience is preferred, not required. CSA, Nuclear Gage, Technology degree are preferred, not required.
