OTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oneida Innovations Group.\n\nOTS is seeking a Security/COMSEC Engineer in Norfolk, Virginia. This position is contingent upon contract award to OTS.\n\nThe Security/COMSEC Engineer will be responsible for supporting execution of core COMSEC operational activities, including Local Element support, equipment maintenance and upgrades, audits, training, and compliance support. This position will support inspections, reporting, Local Element management, and day-to-day operational continuity for the COMSEC program.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nManage day-to-day Navy COMSEC account operations, including compliance support for COMSEC visits and inspections.\nConduct classroom training and develop basic COMSEC training curriculum.\nPerform on-site COMSEC audits, including evaluation of administration, handling, security procedures, inventories, and destruction, and help coordinate audits to maintain annual periodicity.\nProvide COMSEC equipment Life Cycle Management (LCM) support.\nProvide support for COMSEC Shore Local Element management, assisting Local Element Managers with the management and security of COMSEC material.\nPerform equipment maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for COMSEC hardware.\nProvide cybersecurity and COMSEC incident response support, ensure proper reporting chains are followed, and assist with continuity of operations.\n\nRequirements\n\nUS Citizen with Active Top Secret clearance and T5 background investigation.\nMust meet the requirements of CSWF 723 COMSEC Manager Intermediate/Journeyman: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution OR DoD/Military Training 531-25B40-C46 OR active Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Security Essentials (GSEC) certification.\nMinimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in COMSEC management and operations.\nExperience developing and maintaining training material.\nExperience delivering classroom and On-the-Job training.\nExperience working with CMS-1/CMS-3/COMSCINST 2280 series.\nExperience with Navy COMSEC programs.\nExperience contributing to the development of security documentation.\nExceptional interpersonal, analytical, technical, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.\nCompTIA Security+ preferred\nThis position requires CONUS/OCONUS travel.\nOTS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
