We’re Furnishing Knowledge.KI is making a strategic investment to accelerate growth and re establish leadership in the Healthcare market—and we’re looking for a proven industry expert to help lead the way.We are seeking a Director, Healthcare Markets who will have responsibility for defining and executing KI’s Healthcare market strategy, with Life Sciences serving as a targeted, adjacent growth opportunity. This is a high visibility, high impact role for someone who understands how physical environments influence patient outcomes, staff performance, and operational efficiency—and knows how to translate that insight into measurable business results. While the ideal candidate will work from KI’s Corporate Office in Green Bay, WI, we are open to considering strong candidates who can work remotely from their home office in a major U.S. city.What You’ll DoOwn KI’s Healthcare market strategy, defining priority segments (acute care, behavioral health, ambulatory care, senior living/LTPAC) and clear “where to play / how to win” choicesIdentify and prioritize key health systems, regions, and accounts in partnership with SalesBuild access and influence across healthcare procurement channels, including GPOs, IDNs, and cooperative contractsEstablish KI’s differentiation within the healthcare furniture and FF&E landscapePartner with Product Management and Design & Development to align the portfolio with healthcare requirements (infection control, durability, ergonomics, evidence based design)Lead healthcare specific A&D engagement alongside KI’s National A&D ManagerBuild relationships with top healthcare A&D firms, clinical design advisors, and industry partnersEquip and coach sales teams with healthcare specific tools, training, and positioning strategiesIdentify focused Life Sciences opportunities (labs, research environments) where KI has a right to winWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree required; Interior Design, Architecture, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred7–10+ years of experience in healthcare systems, healthcare focused A&D/consulting, or commercial roles serving healthcareStrong understanding of healthcare facility planning, regulations, and procurement structuresProven ability to influence strategy, build markets, and drive pipeline and revenue growthCertifications such as NCIDQ, EDAC, CHFM, LEED AP, or WELL AP are a plusWhy This Role MattersThis role is central to KI’s ability to build credibility, influence specifications, and drive meaningful growth in the Healthcare market.
