Windsor Hospitality is looking for their newest Engineer Groundskeeper!\n\nAbout this Location:\n\nThis position is located at the Embassy Suites in Lompoc, CA. Ideally situated within walking distance of Lompoc restaurants, Embassy Suites by Hilton Lompoc Central Coast offers guests a relaxing stay in a variety of comfortable room styles. The charming hotel is within three miles of Sta. Rita Hills Wine Center and the Wine Ghetto, and just a short drive to the Lompoc Flower Fields and Vandenberg Space Force Base.\n\nWhy do we need you?\n\nTo repair and maintain the physical structure of hotel using hand tools and power tools.\n\nWhat you will do:\n\nMaintains hotel by performing minor routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools.\nReplaces air conditioner filters.\nNotifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.\nMay tend furnace, air conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests.\nExecution of assigned tasks, projects, or programs, as instructed by the department’s management and ensure completion competently within a given time.\nTo ensure any work requests that may come from the hotel guests or senior management are responded to withing a given time. All such requests are to be recorded along with what action is taken.\nRequired to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge.\nSupports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.\nAll other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.\n\nSkills and abilities you bring:\n\nUnderstand and use specifications.\nUse hands, arms, and fingers.\nWork to precise measurements.\nVisualize how finished product will look or how system will operate.\nUse arithmetic to measure, compute number of materials to use, and to inspect product to be sure it conforms to requirements.\nLift and move materials and products.\nClimb and balance self.\nWork outdoors in all kinds of weather.\nWork with a variety of situations.\n\nWhat we offer:\n\nJoin a team that invests in you!
