The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.\nFLSA Classification: Exempt (salaried)\nEssential Functions/Responsibilities:\nPerforming takeoffs, reading and interpreting blueprints, project scheduling, and processing submittals.\nDetermines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, performance standards, completing technical studies, and preparing cost estimates.\nHelps maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.\nControls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan/ schedule changes, and recommending actions.\nControls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.\nPrepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing information, and recommending actions.\nMaintains all logs with regards to any and all correspondence, memos, and RFI documentation (Request for Information).\nEnsures that correspondence is signed and scanned onto the internal network drive and routed to the appropriate parties.\nWill be assigned other duties & tasks to assist the Accounting & Human Resources Department\nRegular, reliable attendance is an essential function\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the role; employees may be required to perform other related functions as assigned.\nQualifications:\n1 year relevant experience in the construction industry\nAbility to manage multiple complex projects.\nPrevious experience with a General Contractor preferred.\nProficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Sage Contractor a plus.\nRequired to have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record\nValid Drive License\nMust pass pre-employment drug test/physical/background check (excluding tests for non-psychoactive cannabis metabolites in accordance with California law).\nPhysical Demands, Screen Time & Ergonomics\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nRequires regular use of a computer, which entails looking at a monitor for extended periods; employer provides ergonomic workstations and rest breaks in accordance with California law\nFrequent use of keyboard, mouse, and telephone\nOccasional reaching, bending or lifting of small packages or files up to 20-25 lbs\nWork Environment\nWork is performed in a standard office environment. The employee will use a computer for most of the day in a well-lit, ventilated area. Noise levels are low to moderate. Close exposure to computer screens is constant in this role.
