The above represents the standard corporate policy.\r\nKey responsibilities:\r\nAssign and communicate job requirements and responsibilities to operators and road supervisors\r\nDay-to-day scheduling, counseling and evaluation reports\r\nConduct on-the-scene accident investigations; assist drivers in preparing accident reports and safety violation documents.\r\nHost driver training and safety courses\r\nAssist safety manager with DOT compliance regarding drug testing and recordkeeping.\r\nOther duties as required.\r\nQualifications:\r\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\r\nValid CDL Class B required\r\nMinimum of 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred.\r\nStrong verbal and written communication skills & interpersonal skills\r\nWorking knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.\r\nMust have a flexible work schedule.\r\nMust be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.\r\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.\r\nPhysical requirements:\r\nThe essential functions of this position require the ability to:\r\nWork outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.\r\nSit for extended periods (up to 68 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces\r\nPush and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level\r\nWithstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.\r\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
