Key Job ElementsTechnical development of reman BOM's and components with a multidisciplinary team to drive adherence to cost, quality and velocity targets.Project management of multiple technical solutions, developing schedules and managing deliverables to key timelines.Design and document various processes and methods to reclaim and requalify engine components.Familiarity with machining and assembly of complex parts and typical processes used for engine component manufacturing and salvage.Perform engine troubleshooting, data collection and failure analysis following DMAIC processAuthor, implement and sustain engineering changes to improve product and process qualityExecute product implementation plans with supervisor guidanceCoordinate technical discussions between production, engineering & quality personnel and drive corrective action implementationEducation / TrainingBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or equivalentQualifications andExperienceExperienced (7 or more years) in project leadership, engineering design, New Product Introduction and Current Product Improvement.Experience with Remanufacturing and/or NPI program management with demonstrated leadership of complex projects on cross functional teams, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and marketing.Working knowledge of engines or engine components.Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a variety of audiencesGood oral and written communication skillsHigh level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with othersUnderstanding of design / manufacturing processesFlexibility to quickly adapt to changing assignmentsAbility and willingness to travel as required, up to 20%BenefitsCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
