Reports to the Test Engineering Manager.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDesign circuit board layout for new and existing test stations using Altium Designer.\nContribute to design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), design for test (DFT) for customer products.\nSupport production with failure analysis, test debugging, reduction of false failures and downtime of test equipment.\nLead and drive test improvement including but not limited to: reduction in time, improvements in test coverage and improving automation of test equipment.\nParticipate in the review of capital investments including various pieces of test equipment to improve capabilities and capacity.\nParticipate in quality reviews to aid in reduction of quality escapes through improved test coverage, capability and improved automation.\nDevelop documentation of procedures to be used from the initial test design phase to production.\nGenerate monthly and quarterly reports and analysis of test data and prepare documentation and recommendations for customers.\nReview test equipment designs, test capacity, data and RMA issues with customers on a regular basis.\nDirect and coordinate engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment, control devices required to test, record and reduce test data.\nDirect and exercise control over operational, functional and performance phases of tests.\nAnalyze and interpret test data and prepare technical reports for use by Test Engineering and Management personnel.\nMaintain customer supplied test inventory.\nPerform routine technique development and maintenance, subject to established Mack Technologies standards, including ISO and AS9100 development standards.\nProvide training in new procedures to production test operators, failure analysis technicians and the Test Engineering Dept.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
