Position SummaryThe Payroll & HR Operations Analyst supports payroll operations, HR systems administration, reporting, and workforce data accuracy across the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring payroll and employee data are processed accurately, maintained consistently, and delivered in a way that supports operational and business needs.This position is responsible for day-to-day payroll processing support across U.S., Canada, and Europe operations, along with HRIS maintenance, auditing, reporting preparation, and employee support. The Analyst works closely with the Payroll & HRIS Manager to maintain clean data, improve workflows, support compliance efforts, and strengthen reporting capabilities across HR, Operations, and Finance.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Processing & SupportProcess payroll transactions and support payroll operations for employees across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, including coordination with payroll vendors and internal partnersReview payroll data for accuracy including hours worked, pay changes, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and tax withholdingsAssist with payroll reconciliations, audits, payroll corrections, and off-cycle payroll processingSupport payroll tax troubleshooting, agency notices, and employee payroll inquiriesAssist with compliance reporting and audit preparation including EEO-1 reporting, 5500 support, payroll audits, and regulatory documentation requestsGather, validate, and prepare payroll and workforce data for internal and external auditsMaintain payroll records and supporting documentation in accordance with audit standardsRespond to payroll-related questions from employees and leaders in a timely and professional mannerEnter, maintain, and audit employee data within ADP Workforce NowSupport workflow monitoring including job changes, promotions, compensation updates, and organizational changesAssist with system testing, table maintenance, imports, and configuration validationPerform recurring audits of employee records, payroll data, job changes, organizational structures, and system workflows to identify and correct discrepanciesSupport established audit schedules and document findings, corrections, and process gapsMaintain documentation, SOPs, and process guides related to payroll and HRIS activitiesReporting & Analytics SupportGenerate recurring and ad hoc reports related to headcount, turnover, payroll, labor metrics, and workforce activitySupport the development and implementation of workforce dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics capabilities for HR leadership and operational teamsPrepare and validate data used in workforce planning, compensation analysis, and labor reportingPrepare charts, summaries, and presentation materials that translate workforce and payroll data into clear insights for HR leadership and operational teamsIdentify trends, discrepancies, or anomalies and escalate concerns appropriatelyHelp maintain reporting schedules and ensure timely delivery of informationTimekeeping & Operational SupportMonitor timekeeping and attendance data for accuracy and complianceSupport troubleshooting related to pay rules, time approvals, and attendance trackingAssist with process improvement initiatives and operational workflow enhancementsPartner with HR, Finance, and Operations to resolve payroll and data-related issuesQualifications5+ years of experience in payroll, HRIS, reporting, or HR operations supportExperience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HR/payroll systems preferredStrong Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulationStrong ability to translate complex workforce and payroll data into clear reporting summaries, charts, and presentation materials for leadership audiencesStrong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information appropriatelyAbility to prioritize multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience supporting multi-state and international payroll operations preferred, including exposure to Canada or EuropeExposure to reporting or dashboard tools such as Power BI preferredWhat Success Looks LikePayroll and employee data are processed accurately and consistentlyReporting deadlines are met with minimal correctionsData discrepancies are identified and resolved proactivelyEmployees receive responsive and reliable payroll supportHR and Finance teams trust the accuracy of payroll and workforce informationOperational processes become more efficient and standardized over time
