Understand dimensions and tolerances. Perform interval quality checks on parts produced and document on appropriate paperwork.Essential Functions:Able to follow verbal and written instructions from Lead, Set-up personnel, traveler, or other company documentation. Operate various manual, pneumatic, electric and hydraulic presses to cut, shape, and form metal, plastic, or other materials used in manufacturing operations. Perform forming, cutting, drilling, bending, and punching operations to blueprint specifications. Use various measuring equipment such as height gauges, calipers, and micrometers to verify part dimensions. Document measurements, counts, etc. on company paperwork/graphs. Able to handle delicate parts and using tweezers. Identify imperfections and out of spec conditions based on documented acceptance criteria. Competencies:Attention to detailGood dexterity - Eye hand coordinationAbility to work in a manufacturing environmentAbility to learn and retain new skillsPhysical Demands:Lifting up to 20 lbs. Sitting or standing for up to 8 hrs. Repetitive movementsGood eyesightPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. First shift days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to3:30pm and Second shift days and hours are Monday through Friday, 3:30pm to 12:00am.
