Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Project Support Operations ManagerYour role and responsibilities:As a Document Controller, you will have the opportunity to prepare, distribute, and store accurate customer, ABB, and supplier documents for projects as per the division's/project's procedures in a timely manner. Each day, you will ensure effective version control and status tracking. You will also showcase your expertise by maintaining a high level of data quality and supporting engineers and Project Managers with accurate on-demand status and milestone reporting. This is a hybrid position. Candidates can be based out of any of the following ABB offices: Lake Mary, FL, Mebane, NC, or Houston, TX. This role is contributing to the Electrification Solutions business in NAM.You will be mainly accountable for:Ensuring that a document control and communication process is available according to the project's scope and requirements.Guaranteeing compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.Communicating appropriate documentation updates to customer and other stakeholders effectively and in a timely manner and providing accurate progress reporting.Informing the Project Manager actively in the event of new requirements from the customer that may cause changes in the document management process and/or scope.Qualifications for the role:You are highly organized and enjoy working with document control tools, processes and procedures and checklists in the Oil and Gas, Utilities, Data Center, etc. markets.You have 2+ years of experience in Document Control or similar roles in a project execution environment.Possess an enhanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools/platforms.You are at ease communicating in English.
