As a therapist with APT, you’ll be part of a dynamic, supportive team that puts kids and families first, all in a fun, energizing environment designed to help everyone thrive (including you!).Registered Behavior Technicians play an important role in helping children and their families receive the therapy services that they need in a fun and exciting location!Associates In Pediatric Therapy OffersComprehensive paid training and certification support Paid study time and exam preparation assistanceCollaboration and support with experienced Lead RBTs and BCBAsCareer and leadership ladders to encourage growth and career developmentHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany provided life insuranceDisability insurancePaid Time Off401K MatchWhat You’ll DoThe Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for direct client care and provide high-quality early intervention services with support and direction from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).Provides Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in an outpatient clinic setting, home-based or school/community setting.Implements Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs) under the direction of the behavior analysts/consultants.Facilitates and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for patients and their families.Provides detailed daily treatment notes in EMR system to ensure appropriate billing of services provided.Discusses appropriate referrals for additional patient services, as needed, with BCBA.Completes all documentation and supervisory requirements as required by state board for RBT.Proactively communicates and collaborates effectively with fellow Registered Behavior Technicians, BCBAs, families, and additional team members to support the needs of the client.Participates in therapy meetings as scheduled.Attends CEU trainings as needed to maintain professional license requirements.Complies with federal, state, and local certification requirements.Other duties as assigned by management.RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For:Our Ideal RBT Candidate HasHigh school Diploma or GEDCurrent RBT certification a plus!Experience in a pediatric environment (Daycares, schools, etc.) An individual who thrives on being part of a team Ability to lift up to 50lbsJoin our team and discover how our ABA programming is different from the rest!Innovative approach and 100% client-focused careSmall BCBA to RBT ratiosIndividualized recommendations for careAvoid one-size-fits-all approach to careIn addition to autism, we also treat a variety of diagnosesAPT is a company run by cliniciansWe provide whole person care with a focus on neurodiversity affirming practicesWatch The VideoSee why we are proud to work at APT:https://youtu.be/sAaIFxeMmaUMore Info Available Athttp://www.kidtherapy.org/careersAssociates in Pediatric Therapy is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
