Quality Engineer Manager (Whitsett)
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Quality Engineer Manager for Lenovo in Whitsett, NC. In this role, you will lead and develop a quality team while designing and maintaining quality management systems, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring products and processes meet established standards and regulatory requirements.Rate: $54.07/hrSchedule: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PMResponsibilities:Develop & Implement Quality Systems: Design, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS), processes, and proceduresManage Quality Teams: Supervise and guide quality control personnel, providing direction, coaching, performance management, and professional developmentDrive Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction by identifying and implementing process enhancementsMonitor & Control Quality: Oversee production processes, inspect products or services, and perform statistical analysis to identify trends and potential problemsEnsure Compliance: Ensure products and processes meet established quality standards and relevant industry regulationsReport & Communicate: Prepare reports on quality performance, findings, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholdersBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field4+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing in an engineering management role2 or more years of this experience must be in leadership/management roles. (minimum leading a team of 5)Strong understanding of QMS and regulatory frameworks relevant to the industryProficiency in quality tools such as SPC, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, control plans, and root cause analysisExperience with ISO standards and internal/external audit processesDemonstrated experience in needs management, including gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing stakeholder and customer requirementsTranslate business and customer needs into clear quality requirements, specifications, and actionable plansCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of quality objectives with organizational goalsDrive accountability, foster collaboration, and ensure effective execution of quality and process improvement initiativesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply statistical analysisExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departmentsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related disciplineASQ CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certificationHands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and quality modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronicsKnowledge of advanced quality methodologies such as DOE, MSA, or reliability testingProven track record leading cross-functional quality improvement initiatives with measurable outcomesSirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
