These national programs, initiatives, and projects comprise an extensive portfolio of cancer improvement initiatives utilizing Precision Oncology Presidential Budget funding; the White House Cancer Moonshot 2.0; VA Healthcare Priorities; and legislated programs. This Program Manager will work closely with world leaders in oncology and precision medicine care including specialists in cancer prevention, cancer navigation, colorectal cancer screening, smoking cessation, pharmacy, radiation oncology, lung cancer screening, health promotion, surgery, pathology, laboratory medicine, and research.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nDevelop and monitor performance metrics and VA performance metrics\nCreate and update an operating plan and dashboard for reporting of milestones, deliverables, barriers, risks, and timelines\nCreate and utilize standardized emails for coordination of meetings with all relevant attendees, meeting facilitation and meeting minutes to include action item tracking\nProvide summary level data and reports on for operational analysis and site participation evaluations\nProvide project support for numerous enterprise-wide projects including the implementation of a new modernized cancer registry, conferences, national initiatives and programs\nDevelop a document management plan\nProvide recommendations for standards, guidelines, directives, etc. for portfolio of services and initiatives\nParticipate in development and management of personnel communications database\nDevelop monthly report on the state of the project\nProvide project management support for daily operational requests such as volume, scheduling meetings\nDraft, edit, and organize estimated total 30 standard operating procedures for project activities\nMinimum Qualifications:\nAt least 15 years’ experience managing complex healthcare projects\nAt least 8 years’ experience with Oncology programs\nEducation: MD or PhD\nExperience leading complex multi-disciplinary clinical and administrative national level initiatives.\nExperience developing structured innovative solutions and managing large teams while implementing the solutions.\nExperience in healthcare operations management and business development\nExperience in strategic roadmap creation\nExperience in revenue cycle management\nDesired Qualifications:\nPrior experience supporting the VA/VHA/Federal Government\nPrior military experience\nAbout Aptive:\nAptive is a modern federal consulting firm focused on human experience, digital services, and business transformation.
