This role works on processing-intensive analytics, large-scale data processing solutions, real-time systems, and advanced algorithm development efforts focused on RF and signal processing applications. The position contributes to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, integration, and sustainment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technical solutions.\n\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain complex software applications and system components\nModify existing software to add new features, improve functionality, and correct defects\nIntegrate software into new or existing systems and operating environments\nDevelop and execute software tests to validate compliance with design requirements\nTroubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and operational problems\nDevelop data queries for existing or proposed databases and data repositories\nSupport system design activities, including hardware/software trade studies and architecture decisions\nEvaluate opportunities for software reuse and implementation of COTS/GOTS solutions\nPrepare, review, and maintain software and system documentation\nProvide recommendations for improving software development processes, standards, and documentation\nServe as a technical lead consistent with the software development process used on the program\nSupport requirements analysis and decomposition from system-level requirements to individual software components\nDevelop software solutions supporting RF signal processing, exploitation, and analysis capabilities\nQualifications:\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nActive TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university\n14+ years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity\nFour additional years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree\nExperience developing software in Linux environments\nExperience programming in Python and C++\nExperience with software design, development, integration, testing, and sustainment activities\nExperience developing and supporting complex software systems and applications\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technologies\nExperience with Radio Frequency (RF) systems, signals, collection, or exploitation applications\nExperience supporting SIGINT, communications, or mission-focused analytic systems\nFamiliarity with Agile software development methodologies and DevSecOps practices\nExperience developing software solutions for signal processing, waveform analysis, or communications systems\nSalary Range: USD $225,000.00 - USD $240,000.00 /Yr.\n\nThe Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
