CDL Class A Driver/ Equipment Operator

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, dump trucks, haul trucks , to transport e and materials to designated locations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods during transit. Follow assigned routes for delivery while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any delays or issues encountered during routes. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving route driving. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Strong understanding of load securing techniques and safe driving practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. A commitment to safety protocols in all aspects of driving and handling freight.
