Additionally, you will identify and present cross‑functional risks, potential issues, and their impact on new product release readiness and other key AppleCare initiatives.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nPartner with AppleCare Readiness teams and Diagnostic architects to understand and lead systems and software changes impacting iOS, macOS, cloud‑based server infrastructure, Core OS, and Hardware Development.\n\nDesign project implementation plans for new diagnostic requests and execute those plans with cross‑functional engineering teams.\n\nCoordinate program reviews and status updates on top engineering issues to all levels of management, including senior executives.\n\nLead validation of diagnostic software features and AppleCare diagnostic systems for field releases and new product launches.\n\nEnsure close inter‑team coordination and end‑to‑end collaboration on all projects.\n\nEnsure all engineering and technical aspects of AppleCare diagnostic programs are delivered in a timely manner.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience with 7+ years of experience in an engineering program management or related role.\n\nTrack record of managing software projects.\n\nBackground directing cross‑functional teams through the project lifecycle.\n\nHistory of coordinating end‑to‑end programs from design to release.\n\nKnowledge of operating systems, including iOS, macOS, iPadOS, and watchOS.\n\nFamiliarity with executing product development processes.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBackground managing projects with low‑level hardware integration dependencies.\n\nUnderstanding of diagnostic software features and systems architecture.\n\nCapability to negotiate effectively and lead risk management efforts.\n\nAbility to communicate technical issues clearly to diverse audiences.\n\nAgility to adapt to shifting priorities and navigate ambiguity.\n\nCollaboration skills to foster inter‑team coordination and drive alignment.\n\nAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.\n\nApple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
