Facilities and Grounds Technician - Temporary/Part-Time ($20.62/hr.)

Duties: Performs skilled maintenance and repair work on county buildings, equipment, and grounds.Inspects, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.Installs and repairs plumbing, electrical fixtures, and computer wiring.Maintains security, audio/video, power equipment, and communication systems.Completes carpentry projects, services boilers and locks, assembles and moves furniture, and transports records and supplies.Maintains grounds by mowing, trimming, snow removal, and performing seasonal cleanup; repairs related equipment.Clears and treats parking lots and walkways.Operates various tools and equipment related to maintenance and groundskeeping tasks.This description is intended to illustrate the type and level of work being performed by persons assigned to this job.
