The Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the distribution process. The primary duties include researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production. The Process Engineer works under the Operations and Engineering Manager. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative\n\nWhat you can look forward to Process Engineer\nSupport the Outbound Packing and Warehousing\nProjects to reduce quality risks and PPM\nAnalysis of picking and packing processes to understand opportunities for improvement\nSupporting SAP or ERP system enhancements with remote developers\nEnsures measurable Continuous Improvement savings\nDrives and supports the technical change management process by implementing and advising on \"future state\" solutions\nUses lean principles to streamline processes and achieve cost savings goals set forward for the site\nWorking with key stakeholders across the enterprise to drive business and technical requirements and translate into projects.\nRe-engineering processes to eliminate waste and drive resource efficiency.\nEstablishes data governance to ensure proper management of key master data that drives business performance.\nIdentify gaps between processes and system requirements and relay those to operational team\nGuide on best practices both for systems and process\nSupport and manage projects to further engineering process/systems goals\nEnsure existing systems are working efficiently and effectively; assisting users with how to use the systems when needed\nUnderstands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions\nDetermines methods and procedures on new assignments. May be informal team leader\nAs a skilled specialist, completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways\nReceives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and determines the process by which to meet goals\nFrequently interacts with peers and customers to exchange or present complex or technical information\n\nYour profile as Process Engineer\nBachelor's degree in engineering/science or an IT related field or related work experience\nMinimum of 2 years distribution experience, preferred\nSubject matter expert in SAP environment.\nBasic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal\nAbility to work independently or in teams\nAbility to lead teams. foster team engagements and coordinate team member efforts\nAble to manage several projects at one time\nMust be a motivated, self-starter\n\nPhysical demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools; or controls; reach with hands and arms; ascend stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear taste or smell.
