Together we will all be sharing knowledge, learning, growing, and continuing to be an integral part of supporting PM Group’s ongoing expansion in the US. Our office is executing cutting-edge projects for Cell & Gene Therapy, Biologics, and Pharma facilities – from feasibility through to qualification – for both local and international clients. With our clients and partners, we will deliver projects that improve the everyday lives of people across the globe.\n\nThis is a senior level career position and we are looking for an Engineer who enjoys client interaction as well as the technical aspects of the position. This individual needs to have an understanding of the technical aspects of process design engineering. The ability to successfully handle multiple real-time complex project and operational tasks as well as maintain a strong work ethic and drive to deliver for clients as a collaborative colleague are necessary for this role. The Senior Process Engineer is mentored by more senior level engineering team members and, conversely, will be involved with the mentoring and development of less experienced process engineering team members. Expect project work to include all levels of design: feasibility studies, conceptual & schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration. We are focused on growing a sustainable business centered on our people, our clients and trade partners.\n:\nAbility to lead designs from feasibility and concept stage, including presentation of process options to our clients and optimization of the selected design.\nCarry out detailed engineering: preparation of process / clean utility calculations, drawings, reports, etc., directly and through supervision of other engineers.\nStrong understanding of GMP facility requirements: GMP material and personnel flows, clean room design requirements, compendial water requirements, impacts of open versus closed processing, etc.\nExperience making decisions and resolving process design problems typical to biopharmaceutical projects: selecting optimum Water for Injection generation & distribution philosophies, determining design case for flexible GMP single use facilities, developing process and clean utility expansion strategies for facility growth, etc.\nLiaise and coordinate with PM Groups different disciplines and offices as well as external consultants.\nMass Balance, PFD and P&ID development for typical biopharmaceutical process unit operations (bioreactors, chromatography, fill finish, etc.).\nClean utility system design – generation and distribution of purified water, WFI, clean steam and process gases.\nProcess equipment design and specification for both stainless steel and single use equipment.\nPresent PM Group’s process engineering capability to potential clients in support of proposals.\nTravel as required for design workshops, HAZOPs, GMP review, etc.\nOther special projects as assigned\n:\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering\n7+ Years of process engineering experience in a design firm setting (preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Cell & Gene Therapy sectors)\nExperience working with AutoCAD and Revit\nUnderstanding of and ability to develop Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)\nProfessional Engineering (PE) licensure is strongly preferred\nSelf-starter with confidence in coordinating the efforts of others\nGood communication skills (ability to lead Technical reviews with Clients and Suppliers)\nKnowledge of GMP Manufacturing environments is preferred\nThe ability to travel as needed for client and project development\nAll of your information is confidential according to EEO guidelines.\nWhy PM Group?\nAs an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
