Designed for professionals with 6-8+ years of telecommunications, low-voltage, or commercial construction experience, this role is responsible for leading field crews, coordinating daily jobsite operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.\nProject Foremen serve as the primary leader on assigned job sites, balancing hands-on technical work with crew leadership, customer communication, scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance. This position is ideal for individuals who lead by example, develop others, and take pride in delivering successful projects.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities-\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nLead and supervise daily field operations for assigned projects.\nAssign work responsibilities and provide direction to field employees.\nCoordinate daily activities to meet project schedules, milestones, and customer expectations.\nReview project drawings, specifications, and work scopes prior to beginning work.\nEnsure installations comply with customer specifications, manufacturer requirements, company standards, and applicable codes.\nMonitor workmanship and perform quality inspections throughout the project.\nEnforce company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and customer safety requirements.\nConduct daily safety discussions and promote a culture of safety.\nCoordinate labor, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors to maximize productivity.\nMaintain accurate daily reports, production records, material usage, and project documentation.\nCommunicate project progress, delays, manpower needs, and field issues to the Project Superintendent or Project Manager.\nMentor, coach, and develop Installer I, Installer II, and Project Technician team members.\nAssist with employee onboarding and field training.\nResolve field issues quickly while maintaining professionalism and positive customer relationships.\nRepresent CCCI professionally during interactions with customers, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors.\nPerform other duties as assigned by Operations Management.\nEducation & Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\n68+ years of telecommunications, structured cabling, fiber optic experience.\nPrevious experience leading crews or serving in a lead field role.\nStrong understanding of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and telecommunications infrastructure.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.\nAbility to pass customerrequired background screenings and drug testing, when applicable.\nOSHA 30 Certification\nDistinguish cable colors and labeling for telecommunications systems.\nBICSI Installer or Technician Certification (Preferred, but not required)\nCPR/First Aid Certification\nAerial Lift and Scissor Lift Certifications\nExperience leading multiple installation crews\nMicrosoft Outlook, Excel, and project management software experience\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities-\nSuccessful Project Foremen demonstrate:\nStrong leadership and teambuilding skills\nExcellent communication and conflict resolution abilities\nAdvanced technical knowledge of telecommunications systems\nProject planning and organizational skills\nAbility to prioritize work in a fastpaced environment\nStrong attention to quality and customer satisfaction\nSound decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities\nAbility to motivate, coach, and develop employees\nCommitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement\nProfessionalism in all customer and employee interactions\nPhysical Demands & Work Environment-\nThe physical demands described below represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
