{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"ccf4e99bff568ccbadce88e3","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ccf4e99bff568ccbadce88e3","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/ccf4e99bff568ccbadce88e3","title":"Electrical Component Engineer / Electrical Engineer Sr.","description":"Job Title: Electrical Component Engineer\n\nLocation: Littleton, CO\n\nResponsibilities\n\nLead or assist in electrical component (parts) engineering and execution of the program electrical electronic electromechanical (EEE) parts management plan.\n\nParticipate in EEE parts engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture, and test.\n\nParticipate in selection, qualification, test, and failure analysis of EEE parts.\n\nPrepare technical and progress reports, specifications, evaluate suppliers, and analyze test reports.\n\nCoordinate with design engineering, manufacturing, quality engineering, and procurement/supply chain disciplines.\n\nWork on electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs), hybrids, crystals, crystal oscillators, filters, fuses, heaters, magnetics, microcircuits, relays, semiconductors, thermistors.\n\nTravel and work closely with suppliers and government agencies to ensure component selections meet quality expectations and performance requirements.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nExperience and/or knowledge in the design, analysis, and/or construction of electrical parts and circuits, and operation of devices such as relays, hybrids, integrated circuits, transistors, diodes, and capacitors.\n\nKnowledge of design, functionality, manufacturing, materials and processes used in EEE parts.\n\nExperience reviewing engineering drawings and/or specifications and providing guidance to design and test teams.\n\nWillingness/ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance; US citizenship required.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Engineering with emphasis on electrical parts, semiconductor physics, or related field.\n\nFamiliarity with technical requirements and program plans/requirements.\n\nExperience participating in major program milestone reviews such as PDR and CDR.\n\nBasic understanding of nuclear effects on EEE parts and ability to work closely with survivability engineers in strategic rad‑hard applications.\n\nFamiliarity with military specifications and engineering requirements.\n\nBasic understanding of worst‑case analysis (WCA), EEE part derating, and end‑of‑life requirements.\n\nAbility to evaluate current and developing technologies for EEE parts in complex design packages.\n\nExperience with failure analysis, destructive physical analysis, or root‑cause and corrective action analysis related to EEE parts.\n\nExperience establishing and implementing technical requirements, program plans/requirements.\n\nActive or current Secret clearance or higher.\n\nSecurity Clearance: This position requires a Government security clearance; a Secret clearance is required. US citizenship is required for consideration.\n\nOther Important Information:\n\nThe work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
