This engineer will design, develop, architect, and configure the Enterprise MAS platform across development, test, stage, and production environments. The role requires exceptional communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-organizational leadership, technical teams, vendors, center stakeholders, and IT personnel.\n\nThis individual will document and review system designs in alignment with NASA engineering practices and participate in formal reviews as designated by the NASA Technical Point of Contact (TPOC). This role requires 8+ years of hands-on Maximo/Maximo Application Suite (MAS) experience. Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. *Must be within 50 miles of a NASA Center*\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nServe as the primary functional point of contact for MAS user support, business process optimization, and configuration management\n\nAct as liaison between business stakeholders, field users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment with operational and maintenance needs\n\nMonitor and resolve system issues, data inconsistencies, and user access challenges\n\nAnalyze workflows, data collection processes, and business operations across key MAS modules (Work Orders, PM/CM, Asset Management)\n\nIdentify opportunities for modernization, optimization, and standardization across the enterprise\n\nMaintain system configurations, lookup tables, and workflow logic\n\nSupport migration of manual or paper-based processes to modern, mobile-enabled MAS solutions\n\nGather and translate requirements into business requirements documents, user stories, process maps, and configuration specifications\n\nCollaborate with developers, architects, and integration teams to deliver effective solutions\n\nLead standardization of business and technical requirements across NASA centers\n\nImplement release management practices including version control, testing, and promotion across environments\n\nParticipate in system testing, user validation, and change management activities\n\nSupport system performance troubleshooting and technical escalations\n\nProvide engineering support for Red Hat OpenShift-based MAS environments\n\nManage system requirements, infrastructure updates, and evolving workload demands\n\nEnsure compliance with reliability, maintainability, and availability standards\n\nInstall, integrate, validate, and document MAS components and services\n\nSupport system verification testing and customer acceptance activities\n\nCoordinate with NASA stakeholders to gather interface requirements and communicate progress\n\nSupport hybrid integration environments (on-premise and cloud), including API and middleware solutions\n\nTroubleshoot enterprise data discrepancies and integration issues\n\nBuild and maintain API integrations ensuring data integrity across systems\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field\n\n8+ years of hands-on experience with Maximo / Maximo Application Suite (MAS)\n\nProven experience in solution design, configuration, and workflow optimization\n\nStrong experience gathering and translating functional requirements into technical specifications\n\nExperience with MAS modules including Work Orders, PM/CM, and Asset Management\n\nExperience supporting mobile-enabled workflows and modernization initiatives\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to obtain a Public Trust Clearance\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nFamiliarity with NASA systems engineering and project management standards (NPR 7120.7A)\n\nExperience with Red Hat OpenShift or
