Role Description TransJet Cargo is seeking a dynamic Customer and Carrier Sales Manager specializing in Drayage and Over-the-Road (OTR) operations and who knows carrier sales as well. This full-time, on-site role is located in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires leading sales initiatives, developing and maintaining relationships with customers and carriers, and overseeing day-to-day operations to achieve revenue and growth objectives. Daily responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities, managing freight shipments, negotiating rates, providing exceptional service to clients and carriers, and driving team performance in a fast-paced logistics environment. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teamsProven Sales and Sales Management experience, with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growthProficiency in Account Management to build and maintain exceptional relationships with clientsComprehensive understanding of Freight operations, including Drayage, OTR, and logistics processesProblem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environmentExperience with industry software and tools is highly advantageousBachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferredPrior experience in a transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage environment is a plus
