Serving the Bozeman and Big Sky Area. With 20,000 square feet and multiple digital machines, we are the largest operator in the area. Our Stone Fabrication Shop serves the Design Center next door. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to join this fast-growing company. Earth Elements Design Center supplies high-end custom home interior finishes to the building industry. We are a complete one-stop shop with Appliances, Cabinetry, Doors and Door Hardware, Lighting, Slab, Tile, and Wood Flooring.The JobEarth Elements Fabrication is looking for a Template Engineer for its Gallatin Gateway shop. The Template Engineer will work closely with the Fabrication Manager, Project Coordinator, and Project Engineer positions to perform all functions necessary to complete the preparation of project information to include shop drawings and templates for natural and engineered stone countertops and various finish goodsReview project schedules with the Project Coordinator to assist in lining out template dates and times with clients, and determine work schedule for the dayReview job forms for accuracy and all pertinent information necessary for the projectDigitally take field measurementsPrepare field measurements for Project Engineering Professionally communicate with clients onsite, on the phone, or via emailReport discrepancies and missing information to Project CoordinatorResponsible for maintaining template laserCross train in Project EngineeringEnsure accuracy of drawings before sending drawings to Project EngineerPerform additional duties as requiredThe competencies of the position are: Communication Proficiency, Computer Proficiency/Technical Capacity, Time Management, and Quality Focus. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilitiesThis job operates in a warehouse and job-site setting, with outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses equipment such as computers, phones, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters, heavy machinery (i.e. forklifts), and site tools such as measuring devices, levels, lasers, etc. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and stoop or kneel. This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with additional hours and schedule changes as needed for business purposes. Travel is primarily local, up to 2 hour driving distance during the business day may be expected.
