This role supports daily manufacturing operations by ensuring finished products meet Emerald Cannabis quality standards, regulatory requirements, and production schedules.\nPackaging Associates work closely with the Manufacturing Planning Manager and Senior Kitchen Managers to efficiently package a variety of infused products including baked goods, gummies, caramels, beverages, and other edible cannabis products.\nThis position offers flexible scheduling based on production demands and is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nPackage infused cannabis products according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nAccurately weigh, count, label, seal, and prepare finished goods for distribution\nAssemble packaging components including labels, cartons, shrink sleeves, and other packaging materials\nInspect products for quality, consistency, appearance, and regulatory compliance before packaging\nMaintain accurate production counts and immediately report discrepancies or quality concerns\nMeet daily production and packaging goals established by manufacturing leadership\nFollow all Colorado MED regulations, company SOPs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation procedures, and food safety standards\nMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production workspace\nIdentify equipment issues, packaging shortages, or process improvements and communicate them to supervisors\nSafely handle finished products and packaging materials while minimizing waste\nCross-train in additional production and packaging functions to support changing business needs\nPerform other manufacturing duties as assigned\nPerformance Expectations\nSuccess in this role is measured by:\nConsistent accuracy and attention to detail\nMeeting daily production and packaging goals\nMaintaining compliance with all company and MED requirements\nProducing high-quality finished products with minimal waste\nDependability, punctuality, and flexibility\nMaintaining a clean and organized work environment\nSupporting teammates and contributing to an efficient manufacturing operation\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred\nPrevious packaging, food production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred\nExperience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not required\nAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environment\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail\nReliable attendance and willingness to work a flexible schedule based on production needs\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to follow written procedures and work instructions\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy\nBasic math skills for weighing, counting, and recording production information\nEffective communication and teamwork skills\nCommitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods\nFrequently lift and move up to 40 pounds\nAbility to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive hand movements\nAbility to work in a production environment with varying temperatures and manufacturing equipment\nLicenses & Certifications\nMust possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado MED Occupational Badge.\nBenefits & Compensation\nCompetitive hourly pay based on experience\nFlexible scheduling based on production demands\nOpportunities for cross-training and advancement\nEmployee discounts on company products\nPay: $19.29 - $22.00 per hour\nBenefits:\nEmployee discount\nPaid sick time\nLicense/Certification:\nColorado MED Employee Badge?
