Position: Program Manager - First SourceLocation: 100% Remote workDuration: Full-Time PermanentJob Summary:The Program Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and execution of programs related to First Source II contracts with DHS. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring program success while adhering to DHS requirements and standards.Key Responsibilities:Program Oversight: Lead and manage programs associated with First Source II contracts, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives.Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for DHS, maintaining effective communication and managing client expectations throughout the program lifecycle.Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, technical staff, and contractors, to ensure seamless execution of program activities.Compliance: Ensure all program activities comply with First Source II guidelines and DHS regulations, including reporting and documentation requirements.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues related to program execution, developing and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.Performance Monitoring: Track program performance, including milestones and deliverables, and provide regular updates to senior management and DHS stakeholders.Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve program management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications:Experience: Demonstrated experience managing First Source II contracts with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.Program Management: Proven track record of successful program management, including experience with large-scale and complex projects.Government Contracting: In-depth understanding of government contracting processes, particularly within the DHS framework.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and senior management.Leadership: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving program success.Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and address program-related challenges.Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
