It requires a Class A CDL drivers license with a clean record for the past three years. There may be additional hauling of equipment between locations and job sites. This position is out of town, 7-11 days out, with our construction crews. As this position is considered 'out of town' it will require travel around Texas and neighboring states. We provide hotel and per diem. We pay overtime for any hours worked over 40 hours per week. We pay weekly. Health, dental, vision, etc benefits are available after 60 days. This is a full time position. This is an excellent company to work for. Come be a part of our team!\nPosition Main Responsibilities:\nDriving a dump truck. Hauling equipment, materials and supplies.\nConduct Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections.\nExercise good customer service when required to Interact with customers.\nReport mechanical issues with the truck to the appropriate shop personnel.\nKeep truck and all associated equipment clean and in good working order.\nManage logs and records as per DOT regulations.\nInspect freight and vehicle for compliance with regulations.\nReport accidents and violations.\nRequirements:\nClass A CDL Driver’s License.\nClear Motor vehicle record (MVR).\nVerifiable previous 2 year driving employment History.\nAbility to work with time restraints and deadlines.\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nThe ability to balance multiple tasks, along with strong communication skills is essential.\nDetail oriented with focus on results.\nMust be able to speak, write and communicate effectively in English.\nPhysical Demands & Working Conditions:\nThe overall nature of this position requires to be outdoors most of the time, with some physical exertion with physical effort frequently required.\nDriver must be able to sit for extended periods of time in a truck/vehicle.\nThe frequent physical demands of the position are being able to lift 25-50 lbs.
