We strive to create a warm, nurturing environment that supports residents and their families during every stage of care.General PurposeThe Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with their care plans, facility policies, and the direction of licensed nursing staff.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral careAssist with lifting, turning, repositioning, transferring, and transporting residentsMeasure and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directedObserve and report changes in resident condition to licensed nursing staffAnswer resident call lights promptly and courteouslyAssist residents during meals and monitor food and fluid intakeMaintain resident dignity, privacy, and comfort at all timesDocument care provided accurately and timelyFollow infection control and safety protocolsAssist with admissions, transfers, and dischargesParticipate in restorative and rehabilitative programs as directedMaintain confidentiality of resident information and comply with HIPAA regulationsReport accidents, incidents, abuse concerns, or safety hazards immediatelyQualificationsEducation & ExperienceMinimum 10th-grade education requiredPrevious skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferredLicenses & CertificationsCurrent California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification requiredCPR certification preferredSkillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, resident-centered approach to careAbility to work effectively as part of a healthcare teamExcellent observation and documentation skillsPhysical DemandsFrequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and transferring residentsAbility to assist residents with mobility and daily care needsAbility to respond quickly in emergency situationsWe are an equal opportunity employer.
