This person plays a crucial role in supporting the lead in overseeing and coordinating the production line activities . The position involves assisting in supervising the processing team, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and maintaining smooth workflow . The Tier 3 person also helps in training new employees, monitoring productivity, and addressing any operational challenges . Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions are vital for the success in this role.\r\nEssential Functions\r\nReceives and answers questions from workers pertaining to production processes or equipment operation\r\nAids in training new incoming employees or employees from a temporary staffing agency.\r\nNotifies maintenance workers of equipment malfunctions\r\nActs as a back-up in the absence of the Production Lead.\r\nFacilitates the allocation of employees to specific positions on the production lines.\r\nProvides support in completing HACCP documentation and generating reports.\r\nMonitoring productivity and a smooth workflow on the production line.\r\nUndertake crucial responsibilities as a key person on production line.\r\nCleans, scrapes, trims, and fillets product.\r\nDiscards and culls inferior or defective items and foreign matter.\r\nSkillfully fillets for finishing seafood products into predetermined sizes.\r\nWorks with precision knives and tools to meet product specifications.\r\nAccurately weighs and sorts fish according to product or customer specifications.\r\nAttentive to minimizing waste and achieving consistent results.\r\nLabels and packages seafood according to product guidelines.\r\nReviews workspace for cleanliness and safety.\r\nTasks and assignments must always be performed in a safe manner.\r\nPerforms Tier 2 functions at a higher level of productivity and quality.\r\nEngages in tasks that require additional training outside of the normal production line duties.\r\nUndertakes crucial responsibilities as a key person on production line.\r\nAcquires knowledge of Trident's Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.\r\nNotifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings.\r\nThis is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of$22.56 - $24.00 per hour.\r\nTrident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package.
