At Vrakas, we’re not just filling a position; we’re crafting a one-of-a-kind career opportunity tailored to your needs.The following responsibilities, opportunities, and requirements for this position are as follows:Responsibilities & Opportunities:Lead the preparation and review of corporate, partnership, individual, and trust tax returns for closely held businesses and their ownersSupervise and mentor tax associates and interns, fostering collaboration, growth, and accountabilityPlay a key role in managing client engagements and building lasting professional relationshipsWork closely with the tax team to achieve department goals and deliver accurate, timely resultsOversee and execute special projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfactionServe as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive communication, strategic insights, and responsive serviceRequirements:4+ years of experience providing tax services in public accounting1+ years of proven supervisory or mentor experienceA bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or equivalentMust possess the necessary credit hours to be eligible for Certified Public Accounting licensureStrong understanding of accounting principles and regulationsAbility to foster client relationships across various industriesExperience with Microsoft 365 with a strong understanding of Excel and WordAbility to address requests from clients and the firm in a timely, precise, and professional mannerExcellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skillsEffective in both independent work and team collaborationAbility to consistently perform services with integrity, reliability, and accuracyPreferred QualificationsCPA licensurePassion for problem-solving and being a technical resource for team membersKnowledge in Microsoft Teams and Zoom*Candidates with CPA credentials will be given additional consideration for this position.Why Vrakas?We’re proud of our supportive, people-first culture where your voice matters.
