Corporate Controller

Partnering with a Medical Device company who is looking for a Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting and internal controls as a key partner to the CFO.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP.SEC Reporting: Manage the preparation and filing of SEC reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain a strong internal control environment, ensure SOX compliance, and coordinate external and internal audits.Accounting Operations: Oversee AP, AR, general ledger, payroll accounting, and fixed assets; drive standardization and efficiency across the team.Technical Accounting: Research complex accounting issues and new pronouncements; develop and maintain company-wide accounting policies.Systems & Process Improvement: Lead ERP optimization and reporting tool enhancements to support scalable growth.Strategic Partnership: Advise the CFO and senior leadership on financial insights, M&A due diligence, and business planning.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on experience closing the books at a smaller companyMedical Device or Life Sciences industry background preferredPeople manager with direct report experience
