The company now employs over 300 employees and is a six-time recipient of Chicago’s Best and Brightest Employers to Work For award.\n\nSummary\nResearch, analyze, prepare and manage all aspects of the Company’s monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements to Corporate.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nThe essential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties as assigned.\nReview and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements.\nResponsible for reviewing contracts and determining the appropriate revenue recognition method and timing in accordance with U.S. GAAP.\nAnalyze accounting standards for the proper accounting, disclosure of technical accounting matters, and prepare related whitepapers.\nDevelop, implement and review accounting policies and procedures.\nEstablish and maintain consistent internal controls across all SBU’s.\nWork directly with the Company’s external auditors\nReview monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts.\nSupervise the Waukegan and Armstrong Finance teams; working with staff in the completion of daily/weekly/monthly responsibilities, including the management of receivables, accounts payables and internal controls.\nVarious other financial analysis activities as assigned.\nResponsible for implementing and complying with all ethical and legal compliance requirements.\nOther duties & functions may be assigned to this position as needed.\nWorking knowledge of ISO/9001/14000/13485 and AS9100/AS9145 processes.\n\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\n\nEducation and/or Experience\nRequired:\nCertified Public Accounting (CPA) designation\n3+ years of audit experience\nMinimum 5+ years accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of budget preparation and analysis techniques\nManagement experience, with the ability to train and develop high performing teams\nCritical thinking skills and the ability to make the necessary decisions\nExcellent leadership, communication, presentation, and organizational skills are essential\nAble to work well under pressure and meet set deadlines\nAssistance with Group special projects as applicable\n\nAn offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check, and applicants who do not successfully pass both the drug test and background check will not be considered for employment.\n\nThe salary range specified is applicable to positions within the State of Illinois and reflects various factors considered in compensation decisions. Compensation decisions are made based on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate. The current estimated yearly salary range for this position is $120,000 to $188,000 per year. In addition, you will be eligible for our Quarterly Incentive compensation bonus.
