Make an impact by providing services that help the government ensure the well being and support of U.S. citizens.\nJob Description\nDOCUMENT CONTROL ADMINISTRATOR I\nGDIT is looking for a Document Control Administrator I. This candidate will:\nReceive, verify, and prepare incoming documents for scanning.\nBe responsible for the imaging and QA analysis of each file/document.\nReceive, and process requests for microfilm documents, including the request to digitize microfilm.\nTrack activity, create / modify reports, and distribute any required updates and or changes as required by established practices of the related SOP's.\nProcess and fills requests, for both internal and external customers.\nCreate and updates standard operation procedures for the QA process.\nMaintain files and other related records.\nPerform other administrative duties as needed, including monitor emails communications.\nParticipate in special projects as required.\nMaintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School diploma required or GED\n1-3- years of related Administrative / Record Management experience\n1-3 years Service Now (plus)\n1-3 years Next-Star Scanning or experience with digitization of microfilm (plus)\n\nSKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nKnowledge and ability to use MS Office and other software applications as well as related office equipment.\nAbility to demonstrate the ability to use written and verbal communication skills in an effective manner with various levels of management\nMust be able to report to the office (DC) 5 days a week.\nThe candidate will be responsible for the integrity of certain database information, and the ability to perform quality control. The candidate will also Investigate questionable data and take corrective action when necessary.\n\nEmployees will wear business casual attire Monday through Fridays.
