Job Overview ***LESS THAN LETHAL CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED*** We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to join our team during the overnight shift from 9pm to 5am. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. As an Armed Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, conflict management, and emergency response. Your presence will help foster a safe atmosphere where everyone can operate confidently and without concern. Duties Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure thorough documentation Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during critical incidents to ensure coordinated response efforts Skills Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on safety and protection Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling difficult situations professionally Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public Certifications in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training are highly desirable Familiarity with security equipment and protocols including access control systems and CCTV monitoring tools Demonstrated ability to enforce rules firmly yet courteously while maintaining a positive attitude Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone feels protected!
