If you're eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the perfect opportunity to launch your career!\nAny experience in the cable industry as a cable puller or technician would be a huge plus.\nResponsibilities\nAssist with the installation and termination of various cabling systems including Cat5, Cat6, fiber optic cables, and low voltage wiring for telecommunication and data networks\nSupport senior technicians in setting up network equipment such as Cisco routers, Juniper devices, VoIP systems, and Ethernet connections\nUse diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and RF testers to identify issues with cabling or network connections\nRead and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams to ensure proper installation procedures\nConduct basic troubleshooting of network problems using computer networking principles and diagnostic tools\nHelp maintain safety standards by properly handling hand tools, power tools, electrical systems (AC/DC), and adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines\nProvide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during installations or repairs\nRequirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in telecommunications or electrical systems are a plus\nBasic understanding of computer hardware, networking concepts (LAN/WAN), Ethernet cabling (Cat5/Cat6), and telecommunication systems such as Avaya or VoIP\nFamiliarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to network wiring and equipment setup\nAbility to use diagnostic tools including ohmmeters, RF testers, and other testing equipment confidently\nExperience working with hand tools, power tools, electrical systems (AC/DC), and low voltage wiring preferred\nStrong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients\nWillingness to learn new skills related to fiber splicing, CCTV systems including CCTV cameras and DVRs, radio frequency testing, and data center environments\nPhysical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting cables or equipment and working at heights when necessary\nValid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites\nJoin us as an Entry Level Cable Technician and become part of a vibrant team dedicated to connecting people through innovative technology.\nWe provide paid training opportunities that empower you to develop your technical proficiency while supporting your professional growth.
