Experience in process serving or related work is preferred, but not required. We thoroughly train and welcome sharp individuals regardless of industry knowledge. This is a part-time position.\nCore Responsibilities\nDeliver Legal Documents: Officially serve court documents, including summonses, complaints, subpoenas, petitions, and notices, to the correct parties.\nVerify and Document Service: Confirm the identity of the person being served and record the details of the service, including date, time, location and description on an affidavit of service (proof of service).\nEnsure Proper Notification: The primary goal is to ensure that the recipient is formally informed about the legal proceedings, allowing them time to respond.\nThis type of work is perfect for individuals with a desire to supplement existing income. Compensation is based on the number of services completed and will be discussed in detail during the interview process. This is not an hourly position. The following areas need immediate coverage: Prince George's County\nIndependent contractors must have flexibility for daytime, evening and weekend assignments.
