JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Crib AttendantLocation: Grover, North Carolina,Job Type: Office On SiteReports to: Facility ManagerDepartment: North American OperationsPosition Purpose: Responsible for inventory transactions. Transactions can include but are not limited to data entry, data validation, routine audits, cycle counts, continuous improvement activities, and Q&A regarding spare parts, parts availability, and parts substitutions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.Works safely at all times.Summarizing and reporting operational requirementsAnalyzing data to identify opportunities to improveDeveloping products and tools for various inventory tracking and evaluation processesResearch on and resolve Daily Shortage root cause.Ensure daily floor walks and receive docks to investigate and resolve material issues.Manage material Phase In/Phase Out and reduce inventory levels. (Cost Savings)Reduce obsolete material. (Cost Savings)Check and act on messages from computerized inventory systems.Check, verify, label, put away all incoming stock daily.Daily Goods Received, Daily Goods issued report.Assistance with all inventory needsCustomer ServiceCycle CountsForklift operationAdhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively.All other duties as assigned by Leadec manager.Competencies:Managing TasksOpen CommunicationSelf-ManagementKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees.Language Ability -- Talking to others to convey information effectively.Customer Service Orientation - Satisfying customers.Adaptability - Willingness to deal with unexpected challenges or circumstances.Problem Solving - Defining problems and bring about viable solutions.Must have the ability to interact well with others.Intermediate to advanced computer skills -- including Microsoft office suite or equivalentKnowledge of inventory management processesPosition Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent GED requiredProficient with use of MicrosoftPrevious experience with SAP, Maximo, or equivalent asset/inventory management software preferredPrevious experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferredPhysical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:Required to talk and/or hear in an office setting (noise level is low). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; climb or balance; kneel, crawl, stoop, or crouch.Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.Work is performed in an office environment with significant time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
